Susan Chase

What a wonderful educational career I have had thus far! With more than 20 years in education, I started my career as a high school Spanish teacher at North Charleston High School. I then pursued my master’s degree in Counseling from The Citadel Graduate School, graduating in May of 1997. My first job as a guidance counselor was at DuBose Middle School in Dorchester District 2. I then was moved by the district to start career education programs in both Fort Dorchester High School and Summerville High School. My career took a wonderful turn when I found Orange Grove Elementary Charter School. As an elementary school guidance counselor I am now truly able to work directly with students and parents. I thoroughly enjoy all of the preventative programs and lessons we teach, as well as the individual and group work we do in Guidance with our students. As the mother of 2 children- Sam age 20 and Hannah age 17. I understand many of the issues and concerns you may have about your children. Please feel free to call, drop by and/or email me anytime!
