About Mrs. Chiodo
Tracey and Mike

I am originally from Charleston and obtained my BS in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from the College of Charleston. I am married to a wonderful man named Mike and we have three amazing children: Cody, Gina and Anthony. My kids are graduates from Hanahan High School and are excited to pursue their dreams.

I have been teaching at Orange Grove for over 14 years and I have loved every moment. My first year here I taught kindergarten after completing my Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Seattle University. I am proud to say this is my twentieth year of teaching!

I am a true "Technology Junkie" and LOVE all kinds of technologies. I am our grade liasion and enjoy sharing my talents with others. You are sure to find me behind a camera taking photos or creating slide shows. What a thrill it is to capture my students and parents in "action"!

My family is so excited to announce the addition of our beautiful grandchild Everly Rose. She is 8 months old and the most beautiful girl you will ever want to see. My daughter and her husband live in Texas now so I will be visiting them as often as possible. If you ever want to see a photo I will be HAPPY to share! :) Yes I am a very proud Grandma Red!

I love maintaining a healthy lifestyle by eating clean, raw and unprocessed foods. I am a raw vegan and I love gardening and growing vegetables. I am an avid obstacle race athlete and enjoy running in Disney Run events as well as half-marathons and marathons. Spartan obstacle races are my true passion and I love challenging my body in their events specifically. I am a true "kid at heart" and love exploring the great outdoors.  My most favorite place to relax and unwind is Folly Beach.  The ocean is my favorite place to run, walk and do yoga.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to email me at Tracey_Chiodo@ogecs.com or call 843-763-1520 ext 25436 and leave me a message. My classroom is located on the green hallway and is B 108.

I look forward to an unforgettable year together in 1-A!
